It's that time of the semester. Midterms. Papers. Grading. Presentations at Conferences. I am feeling overwhelmed. I then come across this six minute video.
A quote from it:
"We are currently preparing students for jobs that don't yet exist...using technologies that haven't yet been invented...in order to solve problems we don't even know are problems yet."
Really puts what I'm attempting to do in the classroom in perspective.
Sorry, didn't mean to contribute to your feelings of being overwhelmed, but I'm glad you liked it (well, I guess I'm assuming you liked it).
Don't you think our students are feeling overwhelmed as well?

Hi Karl,
Absolutely I think our students feel overwhelmed. I'm glad I'm not 20 any more as I think it's easier to cope as you get older. And yes, I really liked the video. I plan to show it to my management students. Thanks for sharing this.
