If you're like me, you find yourself sometimes forgetting what you were going to say. I hate it when I start off with mentioning there's three important points to this theory and then by the time I get through the first two, I've forgotten what the third point is. I've found it useful to take an detailed outline with me to class in case this happens. Thus, I was happy to read that researchers at the Byrd Alzheimer’s Institute in Tampa, Florida, have just published their results in the journal Neuroscience that reports that caffeine protects again memory impairment and reduces the risk of Alzheimer's (at least in mice). The caffeinated mice outperformed the mice that got just plain water on tests that measured both memory and thinking.
Pour me another cup of java...
